  1. Geotagging from metadata of digital media assets uploads

Extend the digital asset manager (DAM) to support auto geotagging of digital asset uploads from metadata found in images. Particularly useful for staff in the field who are taking pictures of their physical assets (like pipes) and need a way to show pictures of all those physical assets on a map.

  2. Approval/Tasks Workflow (default)

An initial default set of approvals/tasks workflows for publishing. Also relates to: User Roles and Permissions Task Stages: To-doIn Progress:For ReviewFor ApprovalFor Publishing SimpliCity presents this as a “kanban” set of swim lanes, that allows you to drag and drop a task between the columns to complete the stage for the task and update its status. Can also see in a table view. We also use roles to apply the workflow permissions that a user is able to do. We are open to more feedback from municipalities about their needs in this area. Note: this does not yet show all the possible states these workflows and approval buttons cause (like Draft vs Unpublished). This information is still being worked on. See "Roles & Workflows: The Big Picture" image as attached for additional context.

  3. Switch between multiple domains (websites) per municipality

Municipalities often have more than 1 website they manage; and SimpliCity will have the ability support all these different sites. This will make it easy for staff to manage everything in one place, and provides an option to share content between different sites.

  5. Disqus integration and configuration per municipality

Build in support for Disqus functionality. Municipalities can configure based on their Disqus account. Updated to a future possibility now because it was not needed for our founding partner (they opted to remove that functionality and use the "was this page helpful" functionality instead of Disqus, as there was not much engagement on Disqus and was more spam than anything else.

  6. Use municipality's own Azure AD instance for SSO login to SimpliCity staff console

Instead of using SimpliCity's own Azure AD instance to login, some municipalities would like the option to use their own instance instead.
